From 15th June, we'll begin to reopen our shop. Our absolute priority is keeping you and our staff safe, that's why we're taking great care to put comprehensive social distancing measures in place.
We have created a flexible plan that we are ready to adapt if the need arises; either as a result of further guidance from the government, or because of things we learn during the early stages of our re-opening.
We will be opening with reduced hours and staffing levels so that any lessons we learn from the first stage of opening our shop can be applied before hour and staff levels are increased.

Social Distancing Measures In Place
We will introduce comprehensive safety and social distancing measures to keep you and our staff safe. These will include:
- Rigorous cleaning in our shops and hand sanitiser provided at the shop entrance.
- We will initially limit the number of customers in our shop to 1 - this excludes young children accompanied by their parent or guardian.
- Clear signs asking you to stand two metres apart.
- A protective screen at the checkout.
- We will be temporarily suspending cash payments.
- Introduction of new contactless payment limit of £45 - there will be a minimum order value of £1.
- We are also able to generate an online reciept and payment portal for your orders if you would prefer to pay before collection.
At the beginning of May, we launched our new website. With a cleaner look; we have also made it possible to place orders online for our most frequently requested products. If you are looking to place an order and can't find what you are looking for, please get in touch with us.
Currently all our production facilities are working normally. There may be small delays, however, we will always communicate with you to confirm the current turnaround times.
Almost all couriers have communicated that there will be no physical contact during a delivery, the driver often places the package on the ground and will ring the doorbell; signing for the package will be done by the driver.
Some of our couriers have communicated that there will be no more deliveries made to business addresses. Therefore, we recommend that you choose a residential address as your delivery address.
Adjusting to the 'new normal'
Everyone is experiencing this international pandemic differently. For Kall Kwik this means every employee, customer and, supplier will have been impacted in a different way to one another.
From social distancing screens reducing the speed and agility in the shop our people are used to, to the challenges in communicating with you and one another whilst wearing face coverings – we know these new methods take some adjustment, not just by us but by you too. We must all be mindful of how this 'new normal' impacts everyone differently and I know from the friendly chats I've had in the shop these past weeks – you're helping us to adjust just as much as we hope we're helping you to navigate the changes to our business.
Thank you to those who have taken the time to contact us asking when you can expect us to fully open, we are working on it, keep an eye on our website and social media channels in the coming weeks for more news on this.
We hope this controlled reopening will show us that the changes we have made are the right ones and will give us the confidence to start returning to 'business as usual'.
My thanks again for your continued support, understanding and patience.
